Good evening🌛 This is a somewhat lengthy post, but it's the first time I'm talking about the brand's origins.
It's almost four months since the brand launched in July 2025.
I'm truly happy to have received so much warm feedback from so many people, more than I ever imagined, even though it's still a small brand.
I would be very happy if I could at least somewhat encourage everyone to "make self-care a habit" 🌿
8ed Studio's Canvas Stretch Mat was born from the representative's own experience of "divorce," who is currently in her 30s and raising two children.
I haven't talked about this much before, but recently I've been asked more often "why I started this brand," so I'll gradually share the "secret story of its development" 📝
"Being healthy in both mind and body"
I believe this is an eternal theme common to all humanity, regardless of age, gender, or nationality, no matter how much AI evolves or how convenient the times become (sorry for suddenly talking on such a grand scale...🪐).
No matter what happens in life, "health" is essential to eating well, sleeping well, laughing a lot, and spending each day healthily and happily.
For that, various elements like "exercise," "diet," and "sleep" are intertwined, but while it's possible to make an effort for a short time, it's hard to keep it up every day. That's why I thought what's important is to "systematize" daily, accumulated habits.
That's why, around the summer of 2024, I decided to create a high-quality stretch mat that feels good and is comfortable to use, and whose design blends into the room even when left out as part of the interior! 💭
